Palm Frond is part of my Excavation series. In the midst of the polycrisis, Earth’s systems are both unraveling and revealing remarkable resilience. The palm frond has various meanings throughout the ancient world, most often associated with either victory or peace. How humanity pursues these ends will determine the future of our planet.
