Fire in Soul Canyon speaks to both the personal and collective experience of going into psycho-spiritual darkness. We must enter the darkness of the unconscious if we are to recover qualities essential to life. The fire in this canyon has a mysterious quality, and is not meant to offer relief or safety from an otherwise frightening darkness, but rather is the illumination of those qualities that were previously undiscovered prior to journeying into the dark for their retrieval.
